What the service is

Gamut Bench converts colors between notations, checks contrast against WCAG 2.2 and APCA, and builds perceptually even shade scales. Everything runs in your browser.

Using the tools

The color tools are free and need no account. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, resell access, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for others.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Pro plans

Pro is offered as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Lifetime access covers the Pro tools listed there and updates to those tools. It does not include separate future products, team plans, cloud storage or paid AI services.

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals and leaves access in place until the end of the paid period.

Accuracy of results

The color math follows published specifications, and the conversion vectors are covered by an automated test suite. Even so, results are provided for your own judgment. Check any value that matters before you ship it, particularly CMYK, which depends on the profile your printer uses.

Your content

Colors, palettes and projects you create stay in your browser. We claim no rights over them. Because they are not stored on our servers, we cannot recover them for you if you clear your browser data.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and preview features may be modified or withdrawn.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
